Free Image Converter is a graphic tool which allows you to convert and resize your photos.
You are able to convert your photos in two different ways: simple and advanced. If you choose the simple mode, you will get the result in just a few seconds. This is possible because the simple conversion allows you to set up only several options such as: image size (width, height), image quality and file renaming.
When you choose advanced mode, a new window is displayed and it helps you to set up additional parameters of the conversion. This mode is suitable when you want to apply additional settings to your photos.

For example, let's consider a compression process performed on a 3 GHz Pentium Dual-Core computer running Windows XP, Service Pack 3. The file size of an original image is 1.20 MB. After this compression process, the image quality remains the same, but the file size of the image will be about 52 KB. In this case, the resolution of the original image and the resized one is the same: 1024x768. Also, the file format of both images is jpg, and the image quality value of the output image has been set up to 50. Considering the parameters mentioned above, any quality difference between the original image and the resized one can not be observed.
